Overview
Philip M. Fitzpatrick focuses his practice on a wide range of transactional real estate matters spanning the entire life cycle of a real asset. He advises commercial banks, sponsors, developers, building owners, private equity investors, and funds in transactions involving a variety of asset classes, including office, multi-family residential, industrial, hospitality, and mixed-use. Philip’s debt practice involves the negotiation of complex mortgage and mezzanine financing transactions on behalf of both borrowers and lenders, including extensive experience in construction financing. Philip regularly represents buyers and sellers in sales, acquisitions, and other property dispositions. He also has extensive experience representing property owners and managers in the negotiation of property management, hotel management, and other asset management agreements. Philip maintains a broad leasing practice, representing landlords and tenants in the leasing of office, retail, industrial, and other assets.
During law school, Philip was an intern to Judge Leonard D. Wexler for the US District Court of the Eastern District of New York, and also served as an executive articles editor for the New York University School of Law Annual Survey of American Law.
