Max J. Kellogg provides legal counsel on complex commercial and private client litigation matters, drawing on his experience handling cases in state and federal courts, arbitration, and mediation. He has advised clients across multiple industries and practices, including healthcare and insurance, entertainment, energy, non-profit, product distribution, and cryptocurrency. He is experienced in all phases of litigation, including case assessment, fact and expert discovery, legal research, motion practice, trial preparation, trial, and appeals. Max also maintains an active pro-bono practice in several areas, including immigration and the arts.
Max is also a member of the firm’s Institutional Sexual Misconduct Response Team (SMRT) and assists clients with sensitive and often high-profile matters.
Prior to joining McDermott Will & Schulte, Max worked for an international law firm where he focused his practice on commercial disputes, eDiscovery matters, and dealing with issues surrounding cybersecurity and data privacy laws.
During law school, Max was a legal extern for Judge William Ray II at the Georgia Court of Appeals, and a legal extern for GE Power. Max was also a member of the Emory Moot Court Society.
