Überblick
Jane Kim focuses her practice on federal tax litigation and tax controversies. She has experience handling tax examinations, administrative appeals, tax litigations brought before the US Tax Court and US district courts, and a variety of complex commercial litigation matters. She also has experience handling investigations brought by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), the Department of Justice (DOJ), and the Department of Labor (DOL).
A certified public accountant, Jane has nearly a decade of audit, financial, planning, and analysis experience from a Big Four accounting firm and a multinational company. In that capacity, she performed audit and tax services for external clients, financial analysis and accounting procedures for legal departments, and internal audits for international and domestic company affiliates. Jane also leverages a dual degree and triple major in accounting, economics, and finance to apply broad financial and business acumen to her federal tax litigation and tax controversy practice. She draws upon this deep experience to effectively advise clients through audits, administrative appeals, alternative dispute resolution proceedings, and litigation.
