Kenton handles matters involving the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, the Bank Secrecy Act and US anti-money laundering regulations, among others. He has extensive experience responding to subpoenas and information requests from regulators and government entities and has tried and litigated cases before the United Nations Dispute Tribunal in New York.

During a secondment at a global financial advising firm, Kenton gained in-house legal experience that he applies when advising clients. He provided legal, compliance and regulatory guidance to risk officers and other firm stakeholders on combatting and responding to fraud and other financial exploitation of seniors and vulnerable investors.

Kenton maintains an active pro bono practice and has represented incarcerated or indigent clients in US federal court through the Criminal Justice Act. He has a particular interest in development and anti-corruption compliance matters involving Africa, with a focus on enforcement actions by multilateral development banks. While in law school, Kenton interned with the CWS-Durham Immigration and Refugee Program.
