Andrea Kramer, who co-founded the Women’s Leadership & Mentoring Alliance, was profiled as a leading mentor to professional women in Chicago. “We are still in gender-biased workplaces, where women don’t have the same organic mentorship men do in professions,” Ms. Kramer said. At any given time she mentors 15 to 20 women and four or five men, helping them perfect self-evaluations and make connections.
