Russell Hayman, representing headset maker Plantronics Inc. in opening arguments of a Delaware antitrust suit by competitor Jabra/GN Netcom, said the plaintiff is using a “litigation strategy” as a “business strategy” to compensate in a market where Plantronics had a “40-year head start.” “GN is trying to earn in the courtroom what it hasn’t been able to earn in the marketplace,” Mr. Hayman told jurors. Also representing Plantronics are Jon Dean, Rita Yoon and Sarah Walters.
