McDermott litigators joined lawyers from two other firms to prepare an amicus brief for the defense in Aspen American Insurance v. Interstate Warehousing. The Illinois Supreme Court case concerned whether plaintiffs from outside Illinois can sue corporations based in other states for alleged misconduct that took place elsewhere, and the Court’s decision reflected the brief and gave defendants a full victory.
