Brian Tiemann said he doesn’t expect the Department of Labor to further push back the implementation of its fiduciary rule, which has been delayed to June 9, but he suggested that the department’s “guidance that came out leaves open the possibility that as the DOL completes its analysis there could be changes to the rule itself, including the things that take effect in June.”
