Jacob Hollinger said that “the Supreme Court has said greenhouse gas emissions are a pollutant under the Clean Air Act [so] there’s probably not much interest in revisiting that issue by a majority of the court.” He added that, no matter what the Trump Administration does on GHGs, “the issue of how to deal with greenhouse gas emissions doesn’t go away, and there will be just as much litigation as there was with the previous administration’s approach. That’s something we can be assured of.”
