Joseph Urwitz said regarding the Department of Labor’s new fiduciary rule, which is to take effect next April: “While it’s not possible to predict the future, the new Congress and president may overhaul, eliminate or at the very least delay implementation of the fiduciary rule. Time will tell whether or not any of these moves will come to pass.”
