Overview
John Yoshimura, a former COO of global consulting firm A.T. Kearney, is McDermott’s new Chief Operating Officer to replace Robert Koenen, who retired at the end of 2014 but remains a consultant to the firm. Jeffrey Stone said that Mr. Yoshimura’s consulting experience would help McDermott adjust to structural changes affecting the legal profession. Also noted was the addition of Tony Maida to McDermott’s New York health care and white-collar litigation groups, after he spent nearly a decade in the office of counsel to the HHS inspector general.
