Overview
Jonathan Wohl, who has practiced in France for most of his career after graduating from Harvard Law School, advised on how to develop a practice beyond U.S. borders. While noting the French legal restrictions that could keep an established lawyer from practicing in France, Mr. Wohl said that such lawyers who work with French clients could go in-house. He added, “If you are a younger person there are more avenues, because for students there are joint programs which you can use to gain a knowledge of French law, which could enable you to pass the French bar exam more easily.” Hear the full interview
