McDermott Advises Servier on Strategic Agreement with Cellectis

PARIS (DECEMBER 3, 2015) – McDermott Will and Emery represented Servier in its strategic agreement with Cellectis with regard to the development and commercialization of UCART19 leukemia drug.

Last week, Cellectis and Servier announced an amendment to their existing collaboration agreement from February 2014 concerning UCART19. Under this amendment, Servier early exercises its option to acquire the exclusive worldwide rights to further develop and commercialize UCART19 which is about to enter Phase 1 development for chronic lymphocytic leukemia and acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
