Madeline Chiampou Tully, Perry Sayles, John Lutz and Philip Tingle were authors of this bylined article that examined the characteristics and tax implications of renewable energy projects that are good candidates for securitizations. The authors used a hypothetical portfolio of residential solar projects to review the renewable energy tax and equity implications, and concluded that “there may be more securitizations occurring in the near future in this space as investors seek new financing structures for renewable energy projects.”
