Picasso Painting at Four Seasons Stays Put Until Hearings

Andrew Kratenstein is representing RFR Holding Corp., owner of New York’s Four Seasons restaurant, in a claim brought on by a preservationist group arguing that a Pablo Picasso painting must remain at the restaurant’s entrance because it would be severely damaged if it was moved. Mr. Kratenstein pointed out that work was moved in 1975 and remained unharmed. He said movers determined that the curtain’s “entire support system” appears to be failing and that the painting needs to be taken down for restoration.
