The second set of highly anticipated proposed regulations on the Qualified Opportunity Zone (QOZ) rules was released on April 17, providing important updates for the rising number of investors, funds and companies partaking in QOZ planning. These regulations offer further clarity on the statutory rules and address a number of questions that remained unanswered after the first set of proposed regulations was issued in October of 2018.
Our May 1st webinar highlights key elements of the new regulations: what works and what doesn’t, new concepts and new uncertainties introduced and best practices for structuring qualified opportunity fund investments. This webinar will focus on the new regulations and will not cover the basic constructs of QOZ planning.
