Brendan O’Leary focuses his practice on corporate advisory and transactional matters, including representing private equity clients in buy-side and sell-side transactions primarily in the energy sector. He has a particular interest in the development of renewable energy projects. He regularly drafts and revises merger agreements, contribution agreements, purchase agreements, and other essential documents for mergers and acquisitions and other corporate transactions and conducts related due diligence document review.

While in law school, Brendan served as the executive note editor for Notre Dame Law School’s Journal of Legislation.

• Represented the world’s largest wind and solar energy producer in a back leverage construction bridge loan facility to finance a portfolio of five projects, including solar and battery energy storage projects located in Florida, Georgia, Arizona, and Colorado
• Represented a sponsor in the tax equity financing of the development of a 300-megawatt photovoltaic solar electricity generating facility in Indiana
• Represented a renewable energy developer in the acquisition of a 450 megawatts direct current solar project portfolio to support the developer’s operational portfolio and development pipeline*
