• Operating directly or through a disregarded entity

• Items specific to individuals (e.g., Section 911 exclusion)
• Items specific to domestic corporations (e.g., foreign-derived intangible income “FDII”)
• Section 901 credit and applicable foreign tax credit baskets (especially foreign branch income basket)
