Overview
A second set of highly anticipated proposed regulations on the Qualified Opportunity Zone (QOZ) rules was released yesterday, April 17th, providing important updates for the rising number of investors, funds, and companies partaking in QOZ planning. These regulations offer further clarity on the statutory rules, address unanswered questions and provide examples.
On Wednesday, April 24th, please join us for a presentation summarizing the new regulations, what works and what doesn’t, new concepts, uncertainties, and best practices for structuring qualified opportunity fund investments. This presentation will focus on the new regulations and will not cover the basic constructs of QOZ planning. Finally, this presentation will briefly address the current state and local tax landscape with respect to QOZ investments.
