The Department of Defense released a new cybersecurity framework that, for the first time, will require contractors and subcontractors to obtain a third-party certification verifying their cybersecurity maturity. Without the appropriate certification, companies will be unable to participate in the DoD supply chain. Join our experts for a timely discussion of these new regulations, the legal risks they raise, the importance of preserving a claim of attorney-client privilege in connection with preparations for certification, and the role of counsel in this process.
