China has been building the “New Silk Road” for six years – still without broad German participation. After the economy and politics initially observed the situation in a wait-and-see manner, more and more initiatives are taking China’s geopolitical strategy seriously as a challenge or want to help shape it. The EU even wants to emulate them. The ICC is committed to a concrete improvement in the framework conditions for business investments.
