INSIGHT: Supreme Court Prohibits Class-Action ‘Stacking’



David Hanselman, Chelsea Black and Steven Vaughn co-authored this bylined article on the Supreme Court of the United States’ decision in China Agritech Inc. v. Resh, which limited plaintiffs’ filings of follow-on lawsuits after the expiration of the statute of limitations in the original action. The decision “places a greater burden on class plaintiffs to find adequate class representatives at the beginning of the case,” the authors wrote.
