McDermott Adds Bankruptcy Litigation Strength to Growing Dallas Office

Overview

International law firm McDermott Will & Emery announced the addition of Debbie Green as a partner to its Litigation practice in the Dallas office. Fostering the Firm’s commitment to bolster talent for clients with headquarters and ties in Texas, this announcement is followed by the arrival of Marcus Helt in Dallas and Jack Langlois and Jibin Luke in Houston.

“As clients manage through different business cycles and face the impact of economic fluctuations, Debbie’s experience and skillset will prove invaluable for achieving favorable outcomes,” David Rosenbloom, global head of McDermott’s Litigation Practice Group, said. “Clients will benefit from her diverse commercial and appellate practice as well, and we are delighted to welcome her to the Firm.”

Debbie focuses her litigation practice on insolvency matters, as well as general commercial litigation, class actions, antitrust and appellate proceedings. She has represented both debtors and creditors in such matters as complex reorganizations, commercial foreclosures and fraudulent transfer litigation. Her clients have operated in the healthcare, insurance, hospitality and financial services sectors.

“McDermott’s tremendous growth—especially in the Dallas region—and strength in cross-practice opportunities are huge benefits to my clients,” Debbie said.

Debbie received her JD from Yale Law School, where she was a John M. Olin Fellow, and her BA, cum laude, from Carleton College.
