Emre Ilter said that in President-Elect Trump’s antitrust view “there are some deals that may happen that might create monopolies and he wants to go after them … He seems to think this consolidation of media and telecom is an antitrust problem.” Mr. Ilter noted that Trump has had courtroom experience as both an antitrust litigant and defendant, which would indicate “he’s not afraid of having cases tried.”
