Overview
Jack Beauchamp represents private equity sponsors, private and public companies, and venture capital firms in strategic transactions and general corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, minority investments, asset purchases, divestitures, add-ons, leveraged buyouts, employment and consulting arrangements, and commercial contracts. His experience spans diverse industries, including healthcare, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, fintech, energy, manufacturing, travel and fitness.
Jack is dedicated to pro bono service. Among other projects, he has served as attorney ad litem for children in the foster care system, represented children in adoption matters, and secured 501(c)(3) status for a corporation focused on disaster relief in Haiti.
Prior to joining McDermott, Jack served as the General Counsel of a family office and startup venture capital firm in Miami, Florida and worked as an Associate in the Private Equity M&A and Venture Capital practice groups in the New York office of a major international law firm.
While in law school, Jack served as a Senior Editor for the Georgetown Journal of International Law and worked as a law clerk at a litigation boutique specializing defamation matters and representing clients facing high-profile reputational attacks.
