James Grossman - McDermott Will & Emery

Overview


James Grossman is a trial lawyer who focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation, tort litigation and white-collar defense. He represents clients across various industries, including health care and manufacturing.

James has served as lead counsel in over a dozen successful jury and bench trials. He also has experience in all other facets of litigation, including evidentiary investigation, discovery, motion practice, dispositive hearings and jury selection.

Prior to joining McDermott, James served as an Assistant District Attorney for the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office in the Organized Crime Division. There, James prosecuted felony crimes involving fraud, drug trafficking, murder, and prolific violent offenders.

James has also taught trial advocacy as a law school adjunct professor.
