R. Ethan Dover focuses his practice on corporate advisory and transactional matters, with a concentration in chapter 11 and other bankruptcy-related matters. His experience includes representing debtors, creditors, and official committees of unsecured creditors in all aspects of chapter 11 bankruptcy cases and assisting parties in acquiring claims in connection chapter 11 proceedings.
While in law school, Ethan served as an associate editor for the University of Pennsylvania Journal of Constitutional Law.

- Represented the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors of a cryptocurrency company, including navigating plan and disclosure statement negotiations and exclusivity issues
- Represented the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors of America’s largest food distribution company, including negotiating first-day motions, the debtor-in-possession financing facility, and the treatment of certain antitrust claims
- Represented a sports media company in its chapter 11 cases, including negotiating, drafting, and coordinating the filing of the debtor-in-possession (DIP) motion and order, the DIP credit agreement, and various exhibits*
- Represented a large retail chain in its chapter 11 cases in the US Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas, including drafting and negotiating first-day motions, the disclosure statement, multiple versions of the bankruptcy plan, responses to objections to the plan, the confirmation order, and other documents*
- Represented investment funds in their acquisition of distressed claims throughout various cryptocurrency restructurings*
- Represented an ad hoc group of noteholders in connection with Puerto Rico’s restructuring and insolvency proceedings*
- Represented various creditor groups throughout multiple opioid-related chapter 11 proceedings*
- Represented the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors of a large international airline in the US Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York, including negotiating the disclosure statement, plan documents, and resolutions to certain claim disputes*
- Represented the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors of a gulf-based oil company, including negotiating the resolution of debtor-in-possession financing disputes and the treatment of certain insider transactions and claims*
