Dr. Sabine Balda is responsible for knowledge management in our German offices where she co-leads strategic knowledge management initiatives, working closely with the corporate practice. Knowledge management supports our lawyers in their work by maintaining and updating the knowhow collection and creating and collecting legal materials to improve work performance and drive better value to our clients.

Before joining McDermott, Sabine worked in the corporate and M&A group of an international law firm in Frankfurt. After several years advising clients, she became a member of the firm’s knowledge management team.

Sabine also regularly counsels pro bono clients on matters relating to establishing, restructuring and running of charitable entities.
