The premier moot of 2006/2007 had focused on the Berlin papyrus, a document alleged to have been signed by Cleopatra in her own hand.

The moot court was founded by Dr. Sabine Konrad, partner in the Frankfurt office of McDermott, who also authors the moot’s case-studies. The cases are argued by students form leading universities around the world before experienced arbitrators. UNCITRAL, the ICC, the SCC, the HKIAC as well as the Frankfurt Chamber of Commerce and Industry are supporters of the moot.
