Todd Solomon noted the “irony in the fallout” from opposition to North Carolina’s “bathroom law” targeting transgender persons. “While the law was largely passed by a legislature dominated by Republicans predominantly from rural areas, it is the more liberal cities which are being hit the hardest” by its negative impact, Mr. Solomon said.
