Overview
Jacques Buhart will succeed Philip Bentley as head of the Brussels office. Mr. Buhart, who led the Firm’s Paris office but is also Brussels-qualified, has handled EU competition and M&A matters out of both offices. Raymond Jacobson, head of the Firm’s global competition law practice, added that McDermott expects increased coordination and cooperation between US and EU competition officials in 2016.
