S.J. Ronen-van Heerden focuses his practice on complex civil litigation and the audit of asbestos bankruptcy trust claims and personal injury claims processors. Additionally, his experience includes conducting compliance reviews of asbestos-related personal injury claims under a national matrix of settlement agreements, as well as executing multi-issue research projects related to asbestos bankruptcy trusts.
Prior to joining McDermott, S.J. was a volunteer for a nonprofit organization where he researched legal issues related to human trafficking, homeless youth and access to legal services for indigent persons.
