ALM Bank & Capital Markets Tax Institute 2021

Overview

What lessons have tax and banking executives learned during the pandemic and what new processes have been successful? Join McDermott’s John Lutz as he moderates the panel “The COVID Playbook: Highlighting New Processes & Lessons Learned” at 3:00 pm ET, Thursday, June 10 at the 56th Annual Bank & Capital Markets Tax Institute’s Mid-Year Update and Ethics Day hosted by ALM. Panelists include Ron Copher, CFO & EVP, Glacier Bank and Diana Miller, VP, Director of Tax, Signature Bank.

COVID-19 has changed the way many companies operate, and during the pandemic, tax professionals have been busier than ever before as they continue to support the wider business. Join this session as our experts outline how their tax departments adapted to COVID with a specific focus on staff management, new processes implemented for efficiency, and key lessons learned throughout.

Now in its 56th year, the Bank & Capital Markets Tax Institute is expanding. The 2021 event will be back in person on November 3 – 5, but added a virtual Mid-Year Update and Ethics Day on June 10. With nearly 500 participants in the 2020 virtual program, the 2021 Virtual Mid-Year Update and Ethics program will provide the perfect opportunity for individuals to preview the content for the November in-person event and earn much needed ethics credits.
