McDermott partners Lynne Boisineau, Jennifer Mikulina and counsel Joanne Ludovici each lead a Table Topic sessions at the International Trademark Association’s (INTA) 140th annual meeting in Seattle, Washington, which focused on the increasing importance of trademarks and brands to consumers, companies, and the global economy.
These round-table sessions offered attendees the opportunity to discuss topics of interest over lunch or breakfast with a small group of like-minded professionals. Lynne Boisineau spoke on ‘What is Augmented Reality and How Does it Impact Your Trademarks, Copyrights, and Right of Publicity?’, Jennifer Mikulina lead a session on the ‘Potential Pitfalls in Acquisitions Involving Trademarks’, and Joanne Ludovici discussed ‘The Lifecycle of a Deal Involving Valuable Trademarks.’
