Panel 1 – Preparing for Mergers & Acquisitions
This panel will introduce the various ways in which an entity may engage in mergers and acquisition activity, and will focus on key issues that managers and senior tax analysts may face in supporting the group’s tax function.

Panel 2 – The Aftermath of an Acquisition: Common Integration and Compliance Issues
This panel will address key integration and compliance issues that arise following an acquisition. Topics addressed will include check-the-box elections, transfers of intangibles and other property, supply chain management planning, state registrations, and potential nexus implications.

Panel 3 – Audit Notice Arrives: Now What?
This panel will review the approaches an entity may use to resolve federal and state audits, and the importance of confidentiality. The information sharing policies between federal and state agencies will also be addressed.
