He has over 15 years of experience in handling a broad range of complex competition matters and litigations in the European Courts. Further to his strong antitrust credentials, he is also very active in the area of mergers and acquisitions as well as litigations and cartel investigations, acting for such clients as Mitsubishi Heavy Industries.
Mr. Buhart received his legal education from the Sorbonne, Paris, the Hague Academy of International Law, the Institute of Comparative Law, Paris, and the University of Paris, DESS. He also read for an MBA from the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Paris (ESCP) and has been a visiting professor of EU competition law at the University of Aix-en-Provence and at the University of Tokyo. He is a member of the board of the Sorbonne Law School and a published author on EU competition and M&A topics.
