McDermott Will & Emery has advised some shareholders of Gorillas in the recent acquisition of the German start-up by Turkish unicorn, Getir.
Alven, Felix Capital, Eurazeo and the founders of Frichti – Julia Bijaoui and Quentin Vacher – former shareholders of Frichti who became shareholders of Gorillas following the merger of the two groups at the beginning of 2022, continue the adventure of consolidation of quick commerce by becoming shareholders of Getir, now the largest European player.
This acquisition reaffirms Getir’s long-term commitment and dedication to the sector, especially in enabling better service to its customers.
