Overview
Frankfurt, 21 September 2020 – McDermott advised Joh. Berenberg, Gossler & Co. KG as sole global coordinator on a capital increase of CORESTATE Capital Holding S.A. (CORESTATE).
A total of circa 4.2 million new shares at €17.82 per share were placed with selected qualified investors as part of an international private placement. The transaction totalling approx. €75 million increases the company’s share capital by 19.5%. The proceeds from the placement will be used primarily to reduce net financial debt in the short term.
CORESTATE is an investment manager and co-investor with approximately €28 billion in assets under management. The Luxembourg-headquartered company employs around 800 people in 42 offices, e.g. in Frankfurt, London, Madrid, Singapore and Zurich, and is listed in the Prime Standard (SDAX) of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.
