WASHINGTON, D.C. – September 1, 2023 – International law firm McDermott Will & Emery is pleased to announce it has once again been named to The National Law Journal’s Appellate Hot List 2023. This is the fifth time overall that the Firm has been honored with the recognition.
Co-led by partners Paul Hughes and Michael Kimberly, McDermott’s Supreme Court and Appellate Litigation Practice Group is a team of highly experienced appellate lawyers who have won major appellate victories in courts throughout the country. Together, Michael and Paul have presented 18 arguments in the U.S. Supreme Court, appearing in each of the last eight terms.
The National Law Journal‘s annual Appellate Hot List highlights law firms that have handled exemplary appellate matters. Honorees have had at least one significant appellate win since January 2022 and possess an impressive appellate track record overall.
