McDermott Represents Allina Health System In Its Strategic Relationship With Optum

International law firm McDermott Will & Emery represented Allina Health System (Allina Health), a nonprofit healthcare system dedicated to the prevention and treatment of illness and enhancing the greater health of individuals, families and communities throughout Minnesota and western Wisconsin, in negotiating a strategic relationship with Optum.

Through this relationship, Optum will perform information technology and revenue cycle management services with the goal of enhancing health care for patients and providers in communities throughout Minnesota and western Wisconsin. Approximately 2,000 Allina Health information technology and revenue cycle management employees will transfer to Optum.

The McDermott team was led by Heather Bethancourt and Caitlin Howe and included Bernadette Broccolo, Brian Long, Sam Genovese, Delaney Prunty, Evelyn Yu and Sophia Niemyski.
