Overview
Agnieszka Kawecki focuses her practice on matters related to estate planning. Agnes advises high-net-worth individuals and families on estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax issues. She drafts wills, trust agreements and powers of attorney. Agnes researches various aspects of the federal transfer tax in order to advise clients on wealth transfer methods that accomplish their goals.
While in law school, Agnes served as vice president of the Real Property, Trusts & Estates Law Society, and was a member of the Women’s Leadership Coalition. Agnes received the Kirkland & Ellis Scholar award for Mergers & Acquisitions. Prior to law school, Agnes held several positions for banking institutions, including serving as a legal records coordinator.
