Overview
Mary Waller focuses her practice on transactional matters and regulatory and compliance issues affecting the healthcare and life sciences industries, with an emphasis on digital health and clinical research.
Mary supports clients engaged in M&A and other strategic transactions, including home health and physician practice acquisitions and private equity investments. She also participates in structuring management service agreements and other arrangements to provide professional, management, or administrative services. Mary advises clients, including hospitals, health systems, physician groups, digital health companies, pharmaceutical companies and clinical research organizations, on matters related to telemedicine, HIPAA, the Anti-Kickback Statute (AKS) and the Stark law, as well as clinical research regulations as they relate to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
Mary is also experienced in conducting investigations and responding to enforcement matters involving the False Claims Act, AKS and Stark Law.
