Overview
On July 27, 2022, the Act on the Introduction of Virtual General Meetings of Stock Corporations came into force. This means that the legal basis was created for the possibility, but not the obligation, to hold a general meeting in a purely virtual format also in the future. At the same time, the special regime for virtual general meetings applicable under the COVID-19 Act ended on August 31, 2022.
