1 October 2014 (FRANKFURT) — International law firm McDermott Will & Emery represented Telefónica, S.A., the majority shareholder of Telefónica Deutschland Holding AG, in connection with the €3.62 billion rights offering of Telefónica Deutschland Holding AG to partially finance the acquisition of E-Plus group from KPN N.V.
McDermott´s team was led by Frankfurt-based US corporate partner Joseph Marx and included Frankfurt-based corporate partners Philipp von Ilberg, Dr. Clemens Just and Dr. Martin Kniehase. In addition, the New York based corporate partners Joel Rubinstein and Rick Mitchell, as well as London-based corporate partner Nick Aziz advised on the transaction.
