M. Miller Baker and Andrew Liazos were co-counsel representing an association of large employers, the ERISA Industry Committee (ERIC), in settling a lawsuit against the head of the Oregon Retirement Savings Board. The settlement creates a system to handle how companies will confirm they are exempt from a state retirement program’s reporting requirements in light of federal retirement plan law.
