This program will address the top five questions that concern clients about implementation of Privacy Shield and its self-certification requirements for EU data transfer. We will translate the Privacy Shield principles into a set of action plans and checklists. These can enable the US-based multinational to design a practical, efficient and defensible approach to managing the Privacy Shield project. The session will explain how these Privacy Shield activities help build a set of effective cross-border data practices for the US-based multinational which can also be leveraged to meet other privacy frameworks, such as the General Data Protection Regulation.
