The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators East Asia Branch Young Members Group (CIArb EAB YMG) along with practitioners/speakers from across the region including India, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan and many more jurisdictions, will be holding a month-long webinar series with the theme: International ADR in Asia: Global Challenges and Opportunities to Young Practitioners in the Era of the “New Normal”.

Arne Fuchs, LLM, Partner and Global Co-Chair of McDermott’s International Arbitration & Dispute Resolution Group, will be speaking about “The Future of Investment Arbitration in Asia”.
This webinar will focus its discussion on investment arbitration practices and future trends in Asia. This will include discussions on the ASEAN proposal to establish a single appellate court for investment arbitration cases and the Achmea case, its effect on EU arbitration, and possible implications for arbitration in Asia.
