Return to Work Webinar Series: A New Age for Employers

Return to Work Webinar Series: A New Age for Employers

Overview

Time for Compliance in an Altered Work Environment

As companies continue settling into their new working environments—remote, hybrid, or fully back in the office—there remain a number of challenges that have stemmed from the COVID-19 pandemic. We invite you to join us as we relaunch our Return to Work Webinar Series and discuss how COVID-19 has reshaped the employment legal landscape.

In this upcoming webinar, we will discuss the wage and hour and compliance concerns that employers have seen evolve since the heart of the pandemic. We’ll also discuss employer considerations for updating affected employment policies and practices.

Discussion topics include:

  • Developing and modifying transition plans and remote work policies for hybrid workforces
  • Best practices for updating traditional employment policies—including timekeeping, meal and rest breaks, anti-harassment and anti-discrimination—to reflect the different settings in which work is being performed
  • Auditing and revaluating policies and practices affected by the return to office—such as expense reimbursement, accommodations and employee classifications—and considerations for addressing them
FLSA and state law wage/hour lawsuits (new and continuing legal issues targeted by the Plaintiffs’ Bar)

We will also conduct a Q&A session with the speakers at the end of the webinar. Please submit your questions in advance during registration.
