Sandra DiVarco said that medical staff bylaws should conform with regulatory and accreditation requirements, but also should reflect organizational procedures and be reviewed regularly to make certain that they do. Ms. DiVarco added that such reviews should be part of organizational bylaws, so that “it is less threatening to the medical staff because it is simply part of the process.”
