Overview
Düsseldorf, September 26, 2017 – McDermott Will & Emery advised Gimv on the acquisition of the WEMAS group, consisting of WEMAS Holding GmbH and the operating company WEMAS Absperrtechnik GmbH, from NORD Holding Unternehmensbeteiligungsgesellschaft mbH.
WEMAS is the leading full-range provider of certified passive mobile road safety equipment. The broad range of products includes primarily protective barriers, delineators, base plates, warning lamps and traffic cones as well as further plastic products such as mortar bowls and safety products for the logistic industry.
The team of McDermott’s Munich based partner Dr. Nikolaus von Jacobs has been mandated several times by Gimv.
Gimv is a European investment company with over three decades of experience in private equity and venture capital. Gimv is listed on Euronext Brussels. Gimv currently manages around EUR 1.6 billion (including co-investment partnerships) of investments in about 50 portfolio companies.
